Testing Engineers

Due to increased activities in our full scale lightning laboratory we are looking for high skilled engineers to perform lightning tests and evaluation.

The right individuals will have the chance to be a part of a very strong engineering team executing standardized immunity and verification tests and lifetime performance tests on full scale components.

Your duties

• Responsible for operating large impulse current and high voltage test equipment
• Developing new test equipment and test methods
• Supporting customers in defining test specifications
• Preparing test journals and test evaluation reports
• Developing internal procedures for operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Participating in development of new test methods

Your skills

• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with High Voltage testing and/or EMC immunity testing
• Good physical understanding of electromagnetics and thermodynamics related to high voltage and high current testing.
• Experience in running a laboratory in respect of handling professional customers.
• Experience in Quality Systems, Calibration and Procedures

The laboratory is located in new facilities in Herning.

Testinglab Denmark ApS owns and operates one of the world biggest commercial driven lightning test laboratories as we are operating impulse current generators with currents up to 250kA and impulse voltages up to 2.5MV. Experimental and verification tests are performed on all sorts of equipment from small items as cables and connectors to larger systems as wind turbine blades and nacelles and others. The indoor test field is 73m long, 28m wide and 14m high.
